What are your favorite hobbies, talents, skills outside of CrossFit?
Soccer. Volleyball. Cook. Fashion. Make-up Freak. Freelance photographer.

What motto or phrase do you live by?
“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. ” –Philippians 4:13

What is something we might not know about you?
I was in a pageant and unfortunately I didn’t win.

What is your favorite music to listen to while WODing?
Any kind of music as long as it keeps me pumped and motivated while working out.

What recent adventure are you planning?
I’m planning on going back to school in the fall for graphic design.

Do any of your family members CrossFit?  If so, where?
I have no family members doing crossfit, but I have been telling one of my sisters about it and she is definitely planning on joining.

Where are you originally from?
Fort Worth, Texas

What is your occupation?
I work in the Third Party Liability Dept at WPS.

What is your athletic background?
I played some volleyball, but I would say soccer was the sport that made me trained hard to be the athlete that I am today.

4 months.

What is your favorite WOD?
Team WODs and the “Annie” WOD.  My abs was sore for almost a week.

What is your least favorite WOD?
A WOD that has anything to do with wall balls.

What is your favorite lift?
Clean and jerks.

What is your least favorite lift?

What is your favorite paleo meal/snack?
Obsess with Pesto Hummus Dip.  Cabbage roll.

What is your favorite cheat Food(s)?
Fried Rice. Eggrolls. Chips.

What would your perfect WOD look like?
Unbroken push press.

What is one thing you have done at CFC that you never thought you would do?
After injuring both of my knees, I never have thought that I would be able to lift heavy weights and I mean 135lbs front squat and 145lbs back squat.  Amazing.

What motivates you during a CrossFit WOD?
The coaches, classmates and music.

What do you eat pre/post WOD?
Protein shakes and I love to carb up before a workout.

What results have you seen so far in coming to CFC?
Getting stronger and I’m starting to see muscles in places I thought I would never see.

unnamed-1What was your main reason for joining CFC?
To get killer abs and be able to do a pull up.

Give us some insight as to your thoughts after your first workout at CrossFit Connex?
I would say it was a killer WOD when I did the free intro class, but at the same time I loved it.  I have a love and hate relationship when working out.

Tell us a little about then VS now in regard to your performances as a CrossFit athlete?
My techniques and skill wise has improved.  Still working on it.

Do you have any special or successful CrossFit Connex memories/moments?
Again, I’m proud to say that one of my moments was when I surprised myself not knowing that I was capable of doing a 135lb front squat.

What advice would you give to a newbie or someone just joining CrossFit Connex?
Don’t ever be afraid of going heavier, it’s the best thing of knowing what your capable of.

What sort of life changes have you experienced because of CrossFit that you didn’t expect?
I’m just more energized then ever.

What does CrossFit mean to you?
Family, strong will and supportive.
