Are you traveling this holiday season? Don’t let that stop you from getting a good workout in!
Even if you can’t make it into the box, you can still do a CrossFit workout at a family member’s home, outside wherever your festivities are, or in your hotel room. Our Hotel WODs list features over 100 workouts that don’t require any equipment at all. There are so many bodyweight exercises that you can do that will elevate your heart rate and help you get stronger. From burpees to sit ups and running to jumping air squats, there are countless options. Some of my favorites are –
- 10 push-ups, 10 sit ups, 10 squats – 10 rounds
- Run 1 mile, lunging 30 steps every 1 minute
- 100 air squats for time
- 20 tuck jumps – 3 rounds then 30 second handstand holds – 3 rounds
If you need to calculate distance for sprints or running, you can use sites like mapmyrun.com and maps.google.com. Otherwise, pick an area to workout, one of the listed WODs and 3-2-1 GO! Don’t be afraid to get your family involved too. Exercises like push-ups can be scaled for those that haven’t worked out in a while.
